Both companies are always competing with one another, especially now that a new Xbox and new Playstation are about to be released.

This month’s news is all about hype; the hype for Animal Crossing. The new Animal Crossing game, New Horizons, is all anyone in the video game industry is talking about. As the release date draws near, the hype for it is at its peak. The gaming world has also been shaken by some game delays and D.I.C.E awards winners.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I have loved it since I can remember. This October did not feature many spooky game releases, but there were still many exciting games released.

E3 happened just two weeks ago, but it has given me time to reflect on the video game announcements made at the press conferences. Unfortunately, as excited as I was for E3 this year, it was a pretty big disappointment. This was not that much of a surprise since Sony, who usually steals the show, was not there this year. Many called it the most boring E3 in years. Still, some exciting games were announced.

2018 is going to be a big year for games. Red Dead Redemption 2, Far Cry 5, Sea of Thieves, and Wolf Among Season 2 are just some of the exciting games coming to players this year. I am overwhelmed by the amount of games I am wanting to play. 2017 is going to be a hard year to beat, but I think developers are up for the challenge. Unfortunately, January is a dead month for video games.
