The newest Hallmark Movies and Mysteries entry is the fifteenth in the Aurora Teagarden franchise. How to Con a Con stars Candace Cameron Bure as Aurora Teagarden, local librarian and president of the Real Murders Club. Her new fiancé Nick Miller (Niall Matter) is a college professor of psychology, an eager member of the Club, and very supportive of Aurora’s interest in all things murder. Marilu Henner, as Aurora's mother Aida, isn’t a murder fan and usually is very vocal against any extraneous investigation, but will participate under serious protest.

Mystery 101: Education In Murder is the fifth installment in this Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Signature Mysteries Movie series. Set in a small college town in the Pacific Northwest, Jill Wagner stars as English Professor Amy Winslow who specializes in mystery fiction. When murders occur, she partners with transplanted urban cop Detective Travis Burke played by Kristoffer Polaha. Also offering his take on events is Amy’s bestselling author father, Graham Winslow, played by Robin Thomas.

The newest entry in Hallmark's Movie and Mysteries lineup is Mystery 101 starring Jill Wagner (Teen Wolf) as English professor Amy Winslow and Kristoffer Polaha as Detective Travis Cole. This is another original series, instead of one based on cozy mystery novels like the Aurora Teagarden and Garage Sale Mysteries, among others. This series was written by mystery TV and novel writer Lee Goldberg (Monk, Diagnosis Murder, etc.) and Hallmark writer Robin Bernheim (who also has many other credits).
