Kristan “Stan” Connor would like nothing more than to barricade herself inside her kitchen and test bake organic dog and cat pet treats. Now that she is being financially backed by her boyfriend Jake McGee and her mother Patricia, Stan has the opportunity to finally open Pawsitively Organic Pet Patisserie and Café. Jake is the perfect boyfriend, providing not just emotional support but enough monetary backing to push his investment over that of Patricia’s, keeping Stan’s mother a minority investor.

Normally, gourmet pet food chef Kristan “Stan” Connor would not so willingly allow herself to be blindfolded, led into a mobile pastry truck, and be driven to a mystery location. Having recently entered a partnership with Sheldon “Mr. Pastry” Allyn though, Stan has become accustomed to his outrageous promotional behavior. It seems that Sheldon is hosting a weekend event for his investors, and the “kidnapped” chefs are tasked with providing all of their meals. For their efforts, at the conclusion the most impressive chef may win an opportunity to host his or her own series on the Food Channel.

Losing her prestigious job in financial public relations was the best thing that could have happened for Kristan “Stan” Connor. Moving to tiny Frog Ledge, Connecticut gave her the inspiration to create Pawsitively Organic Gourmet Pet Foods, baking specialty dog and cat snacks for clients and local markets. Her latest success has Stan supplying food and treats for the new combination veterinary clinic/shelter that her homeopathic veterinarian is opening.
