Say hello to two-year-old Bernard who is sixty pounds of pure handsomeness! We all love labs, and one of the things we love most is their resilience. Bernard is sweet, albeit quite shy at first and will need the right situation to help him thrive. Many of our lab rescue dogs adapt quickly to a new home and surroundings, but others, like Bernard have taken a little longer.

This handsome, nine-month-old, fifty-seven pounds of pure joy was once walking the streets alone, until thankfully, he was safely picked up by animal services. That’s where Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno came into the picture.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Meet Irresistible Rob

Rob, along with his little sisters Kim and Kourtney, came to the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno in pretty bad shape. A kind person noticed seven sickly puppies were being sold on social media. They recognized that these puppies were showing signs of significant illness, and they contacted us for assistance. Sadly, four of the puppies died before we could save them. Kim, Kourtney, and Rob were emaciated and one-third the weight they should have been.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno (LRRF) is pleased to introduce you to one our amazing adoptable dogs, Whiskey Pete, a 1-1/2-year-old young Labrador mix who is full of that classic goofy Labrador energy! He is just one of the many Labradors in LRRF foster care looking for a loving family. LRRF is a non-profit 100% foster-based rescue run completely by volunteers. While Whiskey Pete sure does love entertaining his foster family, he is ready to move on and wiggle his way into the hearts of his forever family!
