Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Savannah

by Debbie Crisp

First, we at the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno wish to give a great big thank you to all of our wonderful supporters! November 3, 2024, was our 14th anniversary as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Since we began, we have rescued close to 3,000 dogs from neglect, abuse, and abandonment! This would not be possible without our dedicated donors, fosters, adopters, and volunteers. To date in 2024, we took in 187 dogs, and we finalized 192 adoptions!

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Mildred

by Stacy Lynch Dodd

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno (LRRF) is pleased to introduce you to a true golden girl, Mildred! This darling yellow Labrador is eight years old and looking for a settle down in her forever home. Mildred was rescued from a very unfortunate animal hoarding situation, where she was not properly cared for. She came into rescue neglected, lonely, and just so sad.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Eevee and Her Teddy

by Stacy Lynch Dodd

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno (LRRF) is pleased to offer you a very special two-for-one deal––adopt the fabulous Eevee and get a bonus teddy bear! You see, her teddy bear stuffie is her very bestest friend. He has been there through it all with Eevee––the death of her beloved person, witnessing the death of her companion dog, getting dumped at that scary shelter, the pain of her torn ACL, meeting that really nice Defender of Dogs person who rescued her, getting comfortable in her foster home, her subsequent TPLO (Tibial-Plateau-Leveling Osteotomy) leg surgery recovery––and now Eevee and her bear are finally ready to find their forever family.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Meelo

by Joni Frauenheim

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno would like to introduce you to this two-year-old, handsome gentleman named Meelo.
Meelo’s story is like many other dogs that find themselves in a shelter or rescue. He once had a family but was surrendered to Labrador Retriever of Fresno. Due to no fault on his part, he came to live with a foster family.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Bernard

by Joni Frauenheim

Say hello to two-year-old Bernard who is sixty pounds of pure handsomeness! We all love labs, and one of the things we love most is their resilience. Bernard is sweet, albeit quite shy at first and will need the right situation to help him thrive. Many of our lab rescue dogs adapt quickly to a new home and surroundings, but others, like Bernard have taken a little longer.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Ozzy

by Joni Frauenheim

Looking for a best friend? Then look no further because Ozzy is ready to be just that and more.
This handsome, nine-month-old, fifty-seven pounds of pure joy was once walking the streets alone, until thankfully, he was safely picked up by animal services. That’s where Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno came into the picture.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno: Meet Irresistible Rob

by Debbie Crisp

Rob, along with his little sisters Kim and Kourtney, came to the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno in pretty bad shape. A kind person noticed seven sickly puppies were being sold on social media. They recognized that these puppies were showing signs of significant illness, and they contacted us for assistance. Sadly, four of the puppies died before we could save them. Kim, Kourtney, and Rob were emaciated and one-third the weight they should have been.
