Kings Players Presents The Children’s Story

Every few years, Kings Players produce a show that features mostly young people, and we have a good one for you. Unlike past shows that were based on fairy tales or childlike themes filled with costumes and silliness, The Children’s Story is a cautionary, thought provoking story that occurs in a soon-to-be dystopian society – or at least that’s what you may surmise after seeing it. The place: A fifth grade classroom somewhere in America. The time: a morning after the war. The war which we lost.

You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown On Stage in Hanford

Good grief! You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown the musical comes to the Temple Theatre in Hanford. The iconic Peanuts Gang comes to life on the stage. There's the self-deprecating Charlie Brown, the lovable oaf, the scene-stealer Lucy with her bossy ways which never impress piano prodigy Schroder, cute little Sally who is in love with security blanket-toting, philosophical Linus, and the master of joy, everybody's favorite beagle, Snoopy. Little Women Presented by the Kings Players in Hanford

Kings Players is presenting Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women on the Temple Theatre stage this summer. The play, dramatized by Don L. Swartz, is one of the many adaptations of the timeless and enduring classic about the March sisters’ journey from childhood to maturity during the American Civil War.
