It’s October, Halloween is just around the corner and everywhere you go, it’s all about the pumpkins. If you’ve really got that autumn feeling down in your bones and feel the need to celebrate those orange gourds, Farmer Billy Bob Hobb’s Pumpkin Grove is the place for you (and your kids, too). Since 2010, the Pumpkin Grove has provided a family-friendly alternative to the scary, night time haunted-house attractions that are all the rage with teenagers and adults but are too intense for children.

There are events for small children, all the way up to adults. I know I didn’t get anywhere near everything, but there’s a lot here to choose from!

Hobb’s Grove in Sanger has been a Halloween staple in the Valley and beyond since 1999. People travel from all over to go there during the Halloween season. They have won awards and been listed consistently in the top haunts in the nation! Every year at KRL, we have written something about Hobb’s Grove. This year we have a fun and interesting interview with owner Lore Callahan about how they came to be and what to expect this season. Halloween isn’t complete without a trip to Hobb’s Grove!
