Local Performer Kailyn Sanders Making a Difference In Difficult Times

Performers all over the world have been doing things to help others during this pandemic, including providing free entertainment for those stuck at home, and doing fundraisers for various charities. Local performer, Kailyn Sanders, who is only 12 years old, started doing video fundraisers of her own to help make a difference. Kailyn has been performing for eight years now, both in local shows with Good Company Players and Shine! Theatre, and she was in a National Tour of A Christmas Story, the Musical.

Cups For A Cure: Fighting Childhood Cancer-One Cup at a Time

Alison Stevens is a nine-year-old girl from Reedley, California who is spending her summer raising money to help find a cure for childhood cancer. Alison heard the story of Alex Scott (1996-2004) diagnosed at age one with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. When she was four years old, Alex started selling lemonade to raise money for childhood cancer research.
