The Fresno Fair is almost upon us again, opening on October 1, and there’s always a great list of entertainment with a lot of variety. This year is no exception with entertainers including Tony Bennett, REO Speedwagon, Snoopdog, Toby Mac, Beach Boys, Gabriel Iglesias, and many more.

Sharing her passion for singing and for seeing kids being given the stage, are the top reasons Fairmont’s new singing teacher, Heather Layne, gives for why she decided to teach a singing class called Sing It, once a week at Fairmont Elementary School in Sanger.

2012 Fresno Fair 4-H Market Boer Goat Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion were won by Fairmont 4-H Club members. Fairmont 4-H is a Sanger 4-H club.
