True Detective is a very unique beast. It has the makings of a primetime crime drama, but with an a-list celebrity cast, a incredible story, and a very different setting. It's definitely not something that can be described easily, especially without avoiding spoilers, but it's something worth your time.
In cased you somehow missed Scandal, it’s twisty and dark and set in Washington, D.C. The drama orbits around Olivia Pope, political fixer and campaign strategist. Her “gladiators in suits” are extremely loyal to her, as she has rescued each of them at one point from a personal crisis. Oh and by the way, she’s having an affair with the President.
Next week Monday are the Emmy Awards so over the next week we will be reviewing some of the nominees! If you have not yet seen House of Cards, be warned there are spoilers.
