If you are looking for something healthy to eat or drink there is a fairly new place in Sanger, California you should check out. It’s called Healthy Blendz. They opened their doors on January 3, 2022. They were mentioned earlier this year in one of our Great Food Search columns and I decided to chat with owners Salvador and Diana Colin to learn more. By the way, they have a special Halloween menu!
Kathi Daley has taken fans to Alaska garnering four and five star ratings for Harmony Carson and the residents of Rescue. She has woven just the right amount of paranormal into the storyline which is very intriguing and entertaining; it all fits well. Harmony has a gift to connect with people who are in danger or injured making her excellently suited as a member of a search and rescue team.
Californians don’t need to be told that it can get hot in California. Really hot. The highest temperature ever recorded here was 134 degrees. Although it might not always reach these extreme temperatures, but when it's hot and dry, it’s even more important to make sure you are looking after your body and giving it what it needs to keep cool.
Despite the drought, California is still the king of American agriculture, and the San Joaquin Valley is still the center of California agriculture. To help the Valley stay on top of the food heap, the Fresno Food Expo helps food producers (farmers) meet food buyers (market chains, restaurants, school districts…and people who like to eat). The fifth annual Expo happened July 23, with 121 producers meeting 917 buyers from all over the Valley, state, nation, and world, and 1100 happy people showing up for the evening’s public session.
