When finishing my first novel Ebola Island, I decided to write myself to New Zealand by having my two protagonists plan to marry and live there. I could then travel to and explore New Zealand and expense part of my trip as legitimate research for my second novel. Well, that was my plan.

This year’s pandemic has had a massively negative impact on so many businesses around the globe and sadly, we have seen many, which have been forced to close their doors for good. With this being said there are some other businesses which have thrived and the delivery business in particular falls squarely into that category. With so many of us forced into lockdown, we have become reliant on items being delivered to our doors so that we don’t have to go out.

During the pandemic many new web series have been popping up as they can often be filmed while maintaining social distancing--and often from the actors own homes. Companies that have already made web series in the past are also coming up with new ideas. I was recently approached by Yuri Baranovsky of Happy Little Guillotine Studios about a new web series that they have produced during the pandemic called Binge: How to Lose Weight in the Apocalypse.
