The COS Art Department has a rich history of talented students. The chance to showcase their talent where they first got their start, does not only benefit the artist themselves but also the current COS students and public. Marty Azevedo’s inspiring large-scale prints with mixed media elements graces the walls of the COS Art Gallery for the last exhibition of the Fall 2014 semester in “We Will Live Forever!” The show will run from October 28 through November 21 with an opening reception on Thursday, October 30 from 5-7 p.m. in the COS Art Gallery.

Aileen Imperatrice is devoted to her art. One of a handful of visual artists in Fresno County attempting to make a living strictly from her art, she’d have to be!
But Aileen is determined to make it work and works diligently booking art exhibits, cross promoting her work at ArtHops and galleries, and working alongside theater groups like the Rogue Performance Festival and The New Ensemble Theater Group to provide a visual arts element to their offerings.

The COS Art Department is eagerly preparing our last gallery show of the spring 2013 semester, The Annual Juried Student Exhibition. Throughout the school year, the COS Art Gallery features artwork created by professional artists from California and the United States. However, from April 16 – May 10 COS students will have the opportunity to get their feet wet with what it is like to have their work featured on the gallery walls.
