Paddington is based on the children's books written by Michael Bond and Illustrated by Peggy Fortnum. Paddington Bear is a young bear from darkest Peru that travels to London in search of a new home. He is sent by his Aunt Lucy after an earthquake destroys their home and she must retire at the Bears home for senior bears. She cannot take a young bear to the retirement center so she must help him find a new home.

Annie: Movie Review

The new Annie movie is loosely based on the original Annie musical from the 1930s. In this version of the story, Annie is a girl in Foster care in New York City with three other girls. Their foster mom is Ms. Hannigan and is very similar in character from the original movie in 1982 but has a modern twist to it.

Penguins of Madagascar: Movie Review

The Penguins of Madagascar features the penguins from the Madagascar series of movies. This movie starts where the third movie left off with the penguins leaving the circus and going to break into Fort Knox to celebrate the youngest penguin, Private's, birthday. They steal cheese nibbles out of the vending machine which is a discontinued product.

Big Hero 6: Movie Review

Big Hero Six is an animated film by Disney about Hiro and his friends. It starts out with 14-year-old robotics prodigy, Hiro, at the robot fights with his small robot. He is a genius boy who spends his time obsessed with the fights. However, his big brother, Tadashi convinces him to give up the robot fights and begin college.

Traveling With Westies

Traveling with Westies is always full of adventures, and traveling with Natisa and Cosette is no exception. They love to go in the car for a quick trip to town or for a longer adventure to San Diego. They even enjoy the rides to the vet or groomers—until we arrive. They are Therapy dogs and when we do visits at senior homes each week, they both try to be the first in the car to go. I think it’s like a competition for them. They will go anywhere with me.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day: Movie Review

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is a Disney film based on the Children's book by Judith Viorist. It is about an 11-year-old boy, Alexander, and his family, and about how Alexander is tired of being the only one in his family that has such horrible days when his family seems to always have such perfect days with nothing to complain about. The Morning of his twelfth Birthday he wished on a candle in the sundae he made himself before the rest of the family was up. He wished that they would know what it felt like to have a Terrible, Horrible no good, very bad day.

Dolphin Tale 2: Movie Review

Dolphin Tale 2 is a sequel to the first Dolphin Tale movie and is based on a true story about the dolphin Winter. Sawyer, who was also in the first movie and helped save Winter, now works at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. He is training new volunteers to help out at the aquarium.

Maleficent: Movie Review

Maleficent is a Disney movie about her life and how she became known as an evil fairy. It's a new take on the story of Sleeping Beauty. The movie starts out with Maleficent as a young yet powerful fairy in the peaceful Magical Moors that borders the human land and how she met a human boy and fell in love with him. Stefan, the young boy, grows up and doesn't come back for many years.
