Baby, it’s cold outside! Time to stay warm and catch up on your favorite series. Check out these delicious and savory mysteries.

It’s Tweet Revenge in Ellen Riggs’ eleventh Bought-the-Farm mystery. Hobby farmer Ivy Galloway and sheepdog, Keats, welcome a songbird to the animal rescue Runaway Farm and Inn. An antique birdcage attracted the bird who has a sad song to sing. It warbles small-town wrongs and holds the key to a mystery that has baffled other sleuths. Catch this mystery on the fly.

In the sixth Farm-to-Fork mystery, Angie Turner’s Idaho restaurant is the perfect spot for a wedding. Her business partner is marrying the sous chef of the County Seat. However, the bride’s family is not happy with her choice, so they’re sabotaging the event by bringing her ex. When he’s killed before the ceremony, the chef is framed for the crime. It’s a Fatal Family Feast by Lynn Cahoon.

At the Ho-Lee Noodle House, speed dating is on the menu. Lana Lee’s best friend wants to hold the event at the restaurant. It’s a success until one of the participants calls to say her match has been murdered. Lana starts digging up his unsavory past and finds plenty of people who’d like him dead: slighted women, angry neighbors, and unhappy co-workers. These Hot and Sour Suspects are served up by Vivien Chien in her eighth Noodle Shop mystery.

Jump from a noodle shop to the Honeybee Bakery in Savannah, Georgia. Baker Katie Lightfoot is curious about the town’s history and takes the ghost tour. And why not? Katie is a Hedgewitch. But when the psychic tour guide tells her that the ghost of a recently murdered women is tailing her, Katie realizes she saw the victim earlier and must bring her justice. On top of that, Katie has to find the guardian spirit who’s supposed to be watching over her new husband. Bailey Cates gives us Spirits and Sourdough with the tenth in the Magical Bakery mysteries.

Across the Pond in Bath, England, The Librarian Always Rings Twice. Hayley Burke, curator of a collection of Golden Age of Mystery Writers’ first editions, hates the fact that she must work with the dead donor’s nephew. When a man shows up claiming he’s the grandson and has with him a person who can prove it, proof goes poof when the associate is murdered. Did the nephew do it? This is the third book in Marty Wingate’s First Edition Library Mysteries.

On the Isle of Man, Scotland Yard cold case investigator Bessie Cubbon has a lot on her plate. A week-long unit meeting is being held near her home at the same time she promised to help a friend advertise her party planning business at a wedding showcase event. But when the friend’s ex-boyfriend shows up with his fiancée and the woman disappears, Bessie’s on the case. But she is convinced to woman is all wrong for the future groom. And what about the decade-long cold case murder waiting to be solved? Diana Xanessa lays it all out in The Evans File, an Aunt Bessie Cold Case mystery by Diana Xanessa.
