At first, it seemed off in the distance, but now we’re only two weeks out! With Long Beach on the horizon, I still have many authors who have asked to be included in my Bcon updates.

After a near-death experience in Nevada gold country, RN Gina Mazzio returns to San Francisco and the Women’s Health Clinic. When a co-worker dies of sepsis after an abortion and another woman follows the same route, Gina suspects someone at the clinic is purposely causing the deaths. She finds she has to deal with anti-abortion fanatics and now discovers her ex is out of prison and breaking parole to track her down and finish what he started—her murder. Detective Yianni Kouros is on the twisted trail of his uncle’s murderer and has to choose between the law and blood vendetta.

From the Greek Isles to the Hawaiian Islands. . . PI Ava Rome protects the defenseless, known to Hawaiians as the law of The Splintered Paddle. She helps a hooker victimized by a police officer and a teenage runaway in the hands of a pot grower. Now the officer, grower and an ex-con she put away for assault are teaming up for revenge. Don Bruns packs a lot in his “Stuff” series. number seven, Reel Stuff, finds PI’s James Lessor, Skip Moore and Skip’s girlfriend Emily en route to Hollywood after an Academy Award winner plunges to his death. Suicide or homicide? Emily gets distracted by the lure of the film industry, but solving the case comes first.

  3. Thanks for the information, Sunny. I sure wish I could be at Bouchercon. I met Don Bruns at this past Killer Nashville, actually a few times while I was there. I hope to get to more conferences in the future, meet more authors.
