There were some good things and some not so good things for the Reedley College football team to take from last Saturday’s 43-28 loss to Merced College.

The Tigers played a really good second half and got to within six points before giving up a late safety and a touchdown on an onside kick return. That’s the good news.

The bad news is that the Tigers played poorly in the first half and simply didn’t have enough fire power to make it all the way back. They had several opportunities to take advantage of great field position, but the offense sputtered as it has so often this season.

Although it was another loss, it was a vast improvement over the stink bomb against Diablo Valley.

So, which Tiger team will show up this Saturday afternoon at home against West Hills College? Your guess is as good as mine.
