I was very very excited for this movie to come out. I was more excited than I have been for an animated movie in a long time. I loved the first movie and I couldn’t wait for them to make another one. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be as great as the first, because the sequels never are. But this did not disappoint.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
is about a man named Flint who always dreamed of being a famous inventor. He invented many things throughout his childhood until one day when he grew up his little island town was running out of food and options. So he created a machine that would turn water into food. Things went wrong and the food took over.

Now on to the sequel; where it deals with the aftermath of the food storms. Food is everywhere and they need to clean it up. They are about to dispense with the problem when a world famous scientist named Chester V shows up and offers to help. Flint and his friends leave town while Chester V and his team clean up. Trouble ensues and they have to take matters into their own hands.

The sequel was so great. It was cute, funny, and quirky just like the first movie. Flint Lockwood, voiced by Bill Hader, is adorable and one of my favorite animated characters of all time. His girlfriend Sam Sparks, voiced by Anna Farris, is equally adorable and a great match for Flint. Every character is great and funny in their own way. There are also a lot of food puns in this movie. And who doesn’t love a good pun?

While Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 may be an animated movie, it is not just for children. People of all ages will enjoy it. I recommend that everyone see this movie, even if they haven’t seen the first one. It is easy to follow and great, simple fun for you and your family.
