FBR is excited to announce the return of our beloved annual fundraiser, The Bully Boo Walk. This year’s theme is a festive and spooky Zombie Apocalypse. The Bully Boo Walk has become a signature community event in the Central Valley, bringing together, dog lovers, families, and supporters of animal rescue. Proceeds from the walk directly benefit FBR, which is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming bully breed dogs in need. It’s not just a walk. It’s a celebration of dogs, families, and a special bond we share, all while supporting FBR’s life-saving work.
Enjoy a one-mile shaded stroll through Woodward Park. Along the route, dogs can cool off at multiple water stations, splash zones, and doggy dip spots, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. The walk is designed to be easy, fun and accessible.
Don’t forget the popular dog costume contest! Dress your doggie up in their finest and show them off!
This year’s Bully Walk shines the spotlight on Laguna, a smart, affectionate girl ready for her forever home. Laguna recently baffled her foster family by mysteriously appearing indoors––until they discovered she had learned how to open the back door herself! When fireworks boomed one night, Laguna let herself in, trotted straight to her foster sister’s room, and curled up safely until morning. She’s also cat friendly, coexisting peacefully with feline friends as long as they don’t mind a little curious attention. With her brains, charm, and big heart, Laguna is ready to be someone’s loyal companion.
Another adoptable sweetheart you might meet is Bixby, a striking young dog who is every bit the catch of the season. Bixby loves to run, play, and even swim, making him the perfect adventure buddy. He’s fantastic with other dogs, but no cats please. He knows the basics such as sit, shake, and down. Bixby impressed his foster family with his intelligence, quickly learning new commands and even mastering the doggy door. Think of Bixby as the perfect trick AND treat––a smart loyal pup who needs the right family to appreciate how special he is.Fresno Bully Rescue
