Details at the end of this post on how to win an ebook or print copy of Black Cat and the Accidental Angel, or one of the earlier books in the series, and a link to purchase the book.

Thumper, Noe-Noe, (cats) and the dog Sam, are headed home with their people when a truck rear ends them. The injuries aren’t too bad and the ASPCA comes for Sam. Unfortunately, in the chaos, no one saw the cat carrier fly out of the car and over the embankment.

Thumper lost his memory. Noe-Noe is in charge of helping him get it back. The problem is, she lived in Texas and has no idea where home is now and Thumper can’t remember. The best thing to do is to find food and water. A Siamese shares his lunch and advises them to rest in the covered bed of a pickup truck. When they wake up, they’re at a vineyard with John and his daughter Cindy. It’s a nice place but John worries a lot—overdue bills, mortgage payments behind, disappearing Emu eggs, grapes that won’t be ready until next year and he feels Cindy is left alone too much. Of course now she has the cats who she calls Black Cat and Angel. book

Angel thinks they were sent to John’s for a purpose—to help him out of the financial mess after last year’s vineyard burned. Black Cat isn’t so sure. He has glimmers of memory, a house by the lake, sailboats and a little girl of his own.
The incidents at the vineyard escalate—someone shot at John, opened the gate and let the emus out, left a headless doll on the porch—it’s all too much. Cindy’s mom shows up too and Black Cat doesn’t like her one bit, especially after she tells Cindy the cats ought to go to the shelter.

This is a tale told by Black Cat and Angel, sometimes with scary situations and close calls, when all a cat can do is hide under the bed. Sometimes it calls for bravery. It’s also a tale of love—Black Cat’s love for Angel, love between the humans and for the cats. The mystery comes to a satisfying conclusion as to who was behind the vandalism, how John can recover his life, and where Black Cat and Angel will go next.

This is the third book in the series.

    • Hurray! So happy for you. You will love the cat and his ‘people’. Starting with book one, you see when Thumper meets his family. Book two continues their adventures together and Book three is rather a stand-alone but is the final chapter to Thumper (now called Black Cat) and his family. Hope you enjoy all of them.
