There are also instructions at the end of this post on how to enter to win a copy of As Night Falls.

This is a true thriller—a real nail biter.

Sandy Tremont seems to have the perfect life: a beautiful home in a remote setting, a husband with an affinity for the outdoors who truly loves her, and a teen daughter. Maybe that relationship isn’t as good as it could be, but we all know how teenagers are.

Two inmates work out an escape plan. The mastermind is Nick; his side-kick, Harlan, is big, slow-witted, but totally loyal. While out doing road work under the supervision of prison guards, they manage to hijack a car and the driver, and head to the destination Nick had in mind.book

As the story unfolds, it is revealed that Sandy is Nick’s sister—a sister he tormented all through their growing-up years. The unhealthy relationship between Sandy and Nick unfolds as Nick resumes his torturous psychopathic ways. Everyone Sandy loves is threatened by Nick, as well as anyone who might have been an ally.

A blinding snow storm complicates any chance of escape, but knowing that death by Nick’s hand awaits them all, Sandy fights back with all she has left, knowing it might not be enough.

Believe me; I had to keep on reading to find out how Sandy could possibly save herself, her husband, and daughter against such frightening odds.

At the back of the book Jenny Milchman explains how she has been able to take such long book tours from one end of the country to the other with her husband and two children.

This is Jenny’s third book, Cover of Snow and Ruin Falls being the first two. For those who love a thriller with compelling twists and turns, I highly recommend As Night Falls.
