The Visalia Community Players are presenting The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Ice House Theatre this August 17 through September 2 and Kings River Life Magazine is going to follow them on their journey to produce this fun musical. This will be a brand new adventure for KRL as we follow the production of this show from beginning to end and we are taking you our readers on the journey with us. You will get glimpses of rehearsals, interviews with cast and crew, go out looking for costumes and props, the designing and building of the set, & more!

This is the first video in Kings River Life’s adventure following the Visalia Community Players Production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee from beginning to end. This video was filmed on the second day of rehearsal June 5, 2012 as KRL spoke with director Corey Ralston & assistant director Jennifer Toledo.

The gold medal for all-around wonderful kitty could easily go to darling Chicken Little! This cutiepie never misses an opportunity to hoot it up with her friends, explore any nook or cranny, and make it her mission to check out whatever happens to be going on. Chicken Little came along way after suffering a toe injury calling for immediate amputation. She's all better now and you can't even notice she's missing a rear toe. What an adorable combination she is of fun-loving spirit and sweet, deep affection, a girl who will easily capture hearts in a forever family that cherishes her.
