In May all I am waiting for is for it to be June so I can watch E3. There are so many games I am waiting to hear more about such as Last of Us 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and The Walking Dead game season 4. Despite the fact that it is not yet time for E3, there are still some exciting gaming news to talk about.

Bungie released a DLC (Down Loadble Content) for Destiny 2 called Warmind on May 8. My fiancé Rick was very excited about this DLC. Destiny is his favorite thing in the world, and I know a lot of other people who feel the same way. Destiny 2 was a bit of a disappointment for hardcore fans who claimed that it was boring in comparison to the first. The DLC, however, promised exciting new content. Unfortunately, the DLC has received many negative reviews, claiming that the storyline and game design is weak and boring. It does offer what Destiny never has, an actually ending to a story. The response to the DLC, therefore, has been lukewarm. warmind video game

The long anticipated sequel to the zombie open world game State of Decay, was released on May 22. The response has been very negative with the popular gaming news and review site Gamespot giving the game 5/10. The graphics are nothing new, and the game lags so badly that it is hard to complete missions or kill any zombies. Other sites and players say that the game’s missions and survival tactics are compelling and fun, but it offers nothing new really in comparison to the first game. There is still no available local co-op, co-op is only available online. I considered buying the game until I found out that there would still be no local co-op. I wanted to play with my fiancé, but that is not possible since we only have one X-Box One. Better luck next time Undead Labs. video game

The popular game Dark Souls received a remastered edition which released on May 25. Many of the games famous glitches and issues have been fixed with the remastered edition. The graphics have been updated as well. The game is now available on current gaming consoles such as PS4, X-box One, and PC. video game

Detroit: Become Human released on May 25. The game follows the story of three androids: a housekeeper named Kara, a police android named Connor, and a caretaker android named Markus. Each android has their own personalities that shape the game’s story, which can also be shaped by the player through quick decision making. There are hundreds of ways the story can go. The developers of the game Quantic Dream has been under scrutiny because of writer and director David Cage’s treatment of employees. The game still released however and has been well received for it’s new take on androids level of involvement in human life. video game
