It’s June and here come the brides! Three of this month’s cozies have a wedding theme. There’s also a new series by Sheila Connolly. Enjoy your summer!
In addition to her four other series, Sheila Connolly has started a new one. The first in the Victorian Village Mysteries is Murder at the Mansion. Escaping her small town of Asheford, Maryland, Kate Hamilton headed to Baltimore. She got a great job at a boutique hotel until it became a chain and she’s laid off. She’s been asked to come back to her hometown to talk to the leaders and discovers the town is going bankrupt. With her degree in hospitality management, she is the perfect person to run the Victorian mansion the town just bought. But a high school nemesis has an alternate plan. When Kate finds the woman dead in the mansion, she needs to clear her name and discover the mysteries the old house holds.

Yet another wedding is taking place in Michigan. Food-and-lifestyle blogger Shelby McDonald is transforming Love Blossom Farm for a country-style reception for her friend. But when the widely disliked lead singer of the wedding band is drowned in a trough of rainwater and strung up like a scarecrow, the police round up a barnful of suspects. This is an awesome lineup of books. I’ve read books since I was little. Books has made some tough times in my life way better.
So many wonderful books, I can not wait to read the ones that I haven’t. Thank goodness for NetGalley and for the great blogs that keep me up with my want list.
