Last week I had the pleasure of attending the reading of flawed, a work in progress written by Fresno actor Haley White. This play, as stated in the program, takes place in the days and weeks immediately following the suicide of a young man named Seth.

The reading took place at the Broken Leg Stage in the Tower District in Fresno and featured some familiar actors, including Brandon Delsid, Amelia Ryan, and Marc Gonzalez. After the reading the audience gave Hayley their feedback. I can’t wait to see the final version of this play–it was intense and very emotional. This was my first play reading.

After we were all done I chatted with Haley about the play and how it came to be.
