Looking for a Man to Cuddle With

Roselane, an eight-and-a-half-year-old Cairn, was surrendered to Col. Potter Cairn Rescue by her owner. A true princess, Roselane had apparently fought with another dog in the home.

Roselane had a number of health issues when she came to Col. Potter including bladder stones and some bad teeth. She has had the bladder stones removed and has had the dental work, and although she has no other health issues, she needs to be on a special diet in order to prevent the calcium stones in her bladder from returning. However, the rescue is researching a homemade diet that will work to maintain bladder health and would be better for her. If her adopter is unwilling or unable to do a homemade diet, Roselane will have to remain on the Hills Science diet for urinary health.

Roselane

Roselane is very food oriented which probably explains why she fought with her doggy housemate. However, when she is out and about and meets other dogs, there is no problem.

Roselane likes men and is crazy about her foster dad. She is not interested in toys but just wants to be with her people. She loves being touched and petted and enjoys cuddling. When she meets new people, she will hold back a bit, but if allowed to come forward on her own timetable, she is very friendly.Yorkie rescue dog

This pretty little Cairn needs to be an only princess loved and coddled by her people. Young children are not advisable because she might try to take food from them and because she needs to be on a strict diet with no extras or people food. Older children would probably be okay.

Roselane needs a retired person or someone who works at home. She would not do well being left for most or all of a day as she needs to go out to empty her bladder on a regular schedule, and because she needs to be with her people. She walks well on a leash, but she would really benefit from a fenced in yard. Yorkie rescue dog

Roselane wants a forever home, and, while a couple would work, she would definitely like a man in her life, who will love and cuddle her to her heart’s content.

Currently Col. Potter is running a special for anyone adopting a senior so the adoption fee for Roselane is $20.18, but hurry as this is a limited time offer. The offer is set to expire on Easter, but could possibly be extended.

If you are interested in adopting Roselane, or you would like to donate or volunteer, visit the organization’s website or their Facebook page.

  2. BEAUTIFUL girl…. and having had fosters on special diets, it’s really not that difficult. Sadly, my home is full with two senior boys and a Chihuahua female.
