Fresno Bully Rescue shares their animal rescue adventures with us every other month. You can find more of their columns here and on KRL News & Reviews.
As people mature, they frequently seek out simplicity, proximity, and reduced effort in their lives. As individuals approach older age, they often begin to ponder their mortality, prompting them to prioritize experiences and create bucket lists. They also are wonderful potential adopters of mature older dogs who are generally more secure, relaxed, and require less exercise, making them an ideal addition to many families. Many potential adopters favor younger animals, desiring a longer relationship. However, the love and devotion offered by an older dog are unparalleled.
The experience of caring for an older dog is often more manageable than raising a puppy or young adult. Moreover, the satisfaction and love derived from providing care to an older dog are beyond measure.
At Fresno BullyRescue, we have several dogs that are mature and looking for their forever homes.Boss is one of our longest residents and is the sweetest boy. He is a large dog, but you would never know it since he is so gentle. He also has some get-up-and-go and would love to play fetch just for a little while. If you are looking for a deep connection with a fun, loving companion he’s your guy.
Luna is a gorgeous blue pitbull terrier and is approximately 10 years old. She has a lot of spunk for her age and would do well with even an active, younger family. Roscoe is an older, very refined gentleman who loves taking naps with you in the sunshine or on the couch, He is one of our easiest dogs to handle and care for and would be a wonderful fit for any family, especially an older person or couple looking for companionship and affection. Sweetie is a black/white English Bulldog mix with the cutest booty shake. She is sugar sweet and so easy to care for!Any fears you have about caring for an older dog will simply disappear once they are in your home. If you are looking for a rewarding experience with a timeless best friend, please come see us at FBR!
