Light Blue
by The Unbelievable, Karlo Muro’s creation, is one of the best self-made albums I have ever heard.

Every time I listened to one of his songs, I felt as if I was being told a story that kept me intrigued the entire time, it kept me involved, and often awestruck at the visuals he gave in just one song. I could listen to his music anywhere, whether it be resting on the couch reading a book, or even just in my room when I’m trying to get things done. His album is full of wonderful songs and masterpieces; it’s hard to just pick one.

But I did, good ol’ me, always one to pick favorites. The song that impacted me the most would have to be “Jack Sheppard.” It felt like a book, but portrayed with music and understanding. It gave me his life story in just a few short words, and the music was wonderful, not only Karlo’s voice, but the guitar was soothing to listen to. This song often came up when I was looking for things to listen to, it soon became the most played song on my IPod.

His style of music is kind of hard to describe. It is a mix between Indie Rock and what sounded to me like some R & B. Now I don’t normally enjoy either types of music, but for some reason all of the songs just spoke to me. To be honest, the songs made me really focus on what he was saying, it kept me involved and interested.

Well done Karlo, well done. I don’t think I can say a single bad thing about this album, besides maybe that I wished there were more than five songs for me to listen to! I would recommend this album to absolutely anyone and everyone. Congratulations Karlo, you’ve made a fan out of me and hopefully you will make a lot more, very soon.
