Terrific Tulip is a tan and white, eight-year-old Chihuahua who has been in our care since September 2018. Tulip was abandoned at Valley Animal Center. After her initial adoption, Tulip had a reaction to her vaccines which rendered her temporarily immobile; she is now unable to receive any additional vaccines. When she returned to the center, Tulip made a full recovery and is now ready for her forever home.

Tulip is very social and is comfortable with both cats and dogs. A loving attention seeker, she is the perfect lap dog. As a senior pup, she can usually get enough exercise in a small area, and only requires short walks and light activity to keep her healthy and happy. We suggest a first-time dog owner or a family looking for a new addition that only needs minimal exercise and lots of cuddles. As a typical Chihuahua, Tulip will most enjoy being around her new family.

Like all of our adoptable animals, Tulip has already been spayed, de-wormed, is up-to-date on her vaccinations, and is micro-chipped. For the month of February we are offering a Black Cat & Puppy Love Promotion. You have the choice to adopt a black cat for a $40 adoption fee, a puppy for just a $130 adoption fee, or any dog over 30 pounds for a $75 adoption fee. If you would like more information about Tulip or any of our adoptable animals, please visit the Valley Animal Center at 3934 N. Hayston, Fresno, CA 93728. Our cat and dog adoption centers are open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.animal rescue

Please consider supporting Valley Animal Center by attending our 3rd annual Red Carpet Rescue on February 22, 2019. The venue will be decorated in a “Mardi Paws” theme with vibrant colors, a great sit-down dinner—provided by TorNino’s Banquets, fantastic live and silent auctions, and much more. The best part is, all funds raised from this event will go right back to helping the homeless animals in our care. Visit valleyanimal.org to purchase your ticket today!
