Kalayna Price's Grave Witch series is one of my absolute favorite urban fantasy series. Grave Ransom is the fifth and latest book in that series, and I couldn't wait to read it!
It has been a very long wait for the fourth book in the Alex Croft series by Kalayna Price. I was so excited to finally get to read Grave Visions, as this series is one of my favorites! Alex is a grave witch who can communicate with the dead and she primarily talks to the recent dead to find out why and how they died--sometimes for the police, and sometimes for clients who come to her agency.
Put together some kick ass female fantasy authors with some kick ass female characters and you have the anthology Kicking It! This anthology, with the theme of boots and the paranormal, is edited by Faith Hunter and Kalayna Price.
Alex Craft returns in Kalayna Price’s third novel, Grave Memory, searching for the reason why people are committing suicide. Alex is also dealing with the effects of her new powers that go beyond grave magic, and having Death pop into her life once again after several weeks of not being around.
The main character in Grave Witch and Grave Dance is Alex Craft, a grave witch who can speak to the dead. Using this talent, Alex works as a private investigator and a consultant to the police department to help solve crimes. Alex lives in a world where the mystical has been revealed and witches, faeries and other mystical beings live out in the open.
