I Gotta Be Me Web Series

Recently I had the chance to watch a very interesting and fun web series called I Gotta Be Me, which involves impersonators of the Rat Pack (if you don't know who that is, it includes Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr.), whom I love! This is an awesome web series I highly recommend watching when it is available to the public. It is also filled with a very diverse cast. Recently I interviewed director and producer of I Gotta Be Me, Steven Bloomer.

Quite possibly the first hippie in California, eden ahbez, better known as Nature Boy, was born on April 15, 1908, in Brooklyn, New York, to a Jewish family, but according to ahbez, he was adopted by a family from Kansas when he was nine years old. He moved to Los Angeles in the early 1940s, where he hung out at the raw-food restaurant and health-food store Eutropheon, on Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

As KRL celebrate's their third anniversary, we thought it appropriate to touch base with what's happening at Reedley's River City Theatre Company since our very first issue had a story about them and we have continued to cover their shows the past three years. So we sat down to chat with Mark Norwood, RCTC's artistic director, about two shows they have coming up this summer-Legends Too! which opens May 31, and Les Miserables opening July 12.
