To this day, Wicked is one of my all-time favorite musicals. I saw it for the first time when I was thirteen, and I have been hooked ever since. The grand music and powerful, emotional storylines and characters grab you instantly. I started bawling the second the first song started, that is how much I love this musical.

In 2005, at a Broadway industry conference in NYC, Neil Goldberg proposed to many theatre colleagues the concept of producing an affordable, family friendly holiday stage show that would be able to tour and perform virtually in every city throughout the United States. The idea was initially met with reluctance as audiences were deemed to be in the celebratory holiday spirit the months of November and December only, making both the investment and scale of any potential production a challenging business venture.
