Ant-Man is another good hilarious Marvel movie that actually blew my expectations and continued to lay the groundwork for the hero stuffed Captain America: Civil War coming next May. Centering on Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) an exceptionally good thief who is enlisted by a retired genius scientist Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) to steal a new super powered suit that will unleash a secret he tried to bury many years ago. Marvel continues to use its tried and proven formula of taking a film genre and injecting its superheroes in it. Here is a heist film wrapped in super heroics and tied to the larger MCU.

I never thought that out of all of the Marvel movies, Captain America: The Winter Soldier would be the one to change everything. I walked into the theater expecting an average experience, and walked out being blown away at how good it actually was. Not to mention the huge ramifications that it will have on the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even without the huge twist, the movie still would have been extremely enjoyable, thanks to directors Anthony and Joe Russo. Who would have thought directors of the show Community could make one of the best Marvel movies?

Thor: The Dark World: Movie Review

Thor: The Dark World manages to follow in Iron Man 3’s footsteps and successfully craft a movie that is enjoyable and still manages to have good reasoning as to why the rest of the Avengers aren’t there to help save the day. Filled with twists and turns, the movie improves upon everything established in the first movie.

After the success of Thor many became extra excited to see what Marvel would do with one of its most classics characters, Captain America. And believe me they did not disappoint.

The movie I have been waiting for since it was first announced in 2009 has finally hit theaters and it did not disappoint. As a long time comic book fan, particularly of Marvel comics, it is amazing to see all my favorite characters translated from the page to the big screen.
