Kings River Life Magazine Monthly Teen Poetry Contest!
See your poem published!
We are holding a monthly poetry contest open to all teens in the area—submissions will be accepted immediately. At the end of each month, beginning with October 2010, 5 poems will be published in a poetry collection in the Teen Talk section of our magazine. The winners will be chosen the week before. This is your chance to have you poem published online and available for everyone to read! Your chance to become a published poet. Any subject or type of poem will be considered, but please no inappropriate material.
With each entry, you must include your full name, age, grade, and what school you attend. Entries are to be emailed to: life@kingsriverlife.com or sent snail mail to: Kings River Life Magazine, P.O. Box 1355, Reedley, CA 93654. If you have any questions feel free to email us. If your poem is chosen, we will also ask you for a couple lines of bio information.
In the meantime, be sure and check out our Teen Talk section where you will find book, CD, music, movie and video game reviews, info on what’s going on at local high school/college campuses, opinion pieces, local band profiles & more! All articles in Teen Talk are written by local teens! While you are here check out the rest of the magazine as well. We will be having giveaways as well of tickets, CD’s, books, t-shirts & more!
