Tower District Mardi Gras Parade:
Myths, Folk & Fairy Tales

Sunday February 26 at 1PM ­ Olive Avenue from Palm to Maroa
Fresno, Ca. ­ January 16, 2017 – Mardi Gras in the Tower District brings New
Orleans flavored entertainment and dining to Fresno for it¹s 20th Annual
Mardi Gras Celebration: Myths, Folk & Fairy Tales. Festivities kick-off
Sunday, February 26, 2017 with the Storybook themed Grand Mardi Gras Parade
starting at 1:00 p.m.
The parade begins at Olive and Palm avenues,
traveling east on Olive then continues North on Maroa Avenue.
Floats, live bands, walking krewes, choral groups, dancing troupes, car
clubs and many more, bring life to this diverse celebration of community.
Come early to get a good spot for viewing all the Myths, Folk & Fairy Tales
fun. If New Orleans style food is your fancy, Tower restaurants will be
serving up Cajun and Creole meal specials all week long for lunch and
dinner.

For nightlife lovers, the Tower District Mardi Gras festivities conclude
with indoor
Fat Tuesday parties on February 28th at most Tower District restaurants and
night spots. Fat Tuesday parties feature live music, beads, drink and dinner
specials and lots of Tower-style fun. Tower District Mardi Gras is brought
to you by the Tower District Marketing Committee and Heineken.
