If one of your family members were forced to fight for his or her life, yet you had the opportunity to step in for them, would you? Honestly, I get the feeling that not many people would. Yeah, many people say, “Of course I would! It’s family!” but when it comes down to it, and they’re actually put into this situation, would they do it? In The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, families are put to the test. It shows that sometimes, no matter how much you love someone, you don’t necessarily know how you will react.

As I sat to enjoy this year’s Reedley High School graduation, it was different for me this time. I wasn’t watching just as a journalist or a drama mom who knew these kids through RHS shows, I was watching as a mom. My daughter, Jessica, graduated this year and it was quite the different feeling.

This year, being a Drama kid and Drama club President, I was so excited when they announced the theme was “Old Hollywood”. Soon it went around campus that all the chaperones were going to be dressed up as “Old Hollywood” actors and actresses. I knew that Prom would be a night to remember. My friends and I planned the whole night, getting ready, dinner, and who was going to drive. We were so excited.

Criminal Minds is a widely popular show about five FBI profilers. Set in Quantico, Virginia, the show is created by Jeff Davis. Unlike many other crime procedural shows, Criminal Minds focuses on the behavior of a serial killer, rather than the evidence.

It’s hard to give up your dreams just for a dead-beat family, which is what Zach (Trevor Wright) is learning after he graduates and is forced to live with his sister, Jeanne (Tina Holmes), who has a child named Cody, and a boyfriend.

In high school, did you ever feel like you would have to do something outrageous just to be noticed? In the movie Easy A – starring Emma Stone (Olive), Penn Badgly (Todd) and Amanda Bynes (Marianne) – Olive Penderghast thought just that.
