Details on how to win a copy of Billionaire Blend at the end of this review.

Billionaire Blend is the latest coffeehouse mystery by Cleo Coyle featuring New York coffeehouse manager Clare Cosi. This series is set in the charming Village Blend coffeehouse.

In this book, a bomb goes off outside the Village Blend injuring tech whiz billionaire Eric Thorner who was inside quizzing Clare and her staff about coffee. Clare comes to his aid after the explosion, which is the beginning of an interesting relationship. Eric hires Clare and her ex husband Matt Allegro, to create the most expensive coffee blend on the planet. Clare agrees not only because of the money and the excitement of creating the new coffee, but also so she can investigate the bombing. After a dear friend of the Village Blend’s owner (who is Matt’s mom) is accused of setting off the bomb, Clare is even more determined to find out what happened.

Billionaire Blend takes Clare on an exciting adventure into the world of the elite where she finds herself flying all over the country in a private jet, bribing a bomb squad lieutenant with her cooking, hobnobbing with high society, battling the unwanted advances of Eric, fixing her daughter’s love life, catching a killer, and struggling with some problems in her own romance with mostly absent Detective Mike Quinn who is on assignment in DC. At first Clare is determined Eric couldn’t be involved, but she begins to wonder if this charming and incredibly bright young billionaire is actually a murderer, instead of being the intended victim. Throw in some corporate espionage and you have a great mystery filled with twists and turns that leave you guessing until the end.

This series is filled with delightful characters and a great setting. In each book, Cleo makes you feel like you are really inside this charming coffeehouse. I can practically smell the coffee. And speaking of coffee, Cleo also includes some great coffee and pastry recipes at the end of the book.

The Coffeehouse mysteries is one of my absolute favorite mystery series and I can’t wait to have the time to go back and read the ones I’ve missed. With the cold winter weather outside there’s no better companion than Billionaire Blend and a great cup of coffee to warm you up.

This is one of my favorite series. They are the only books that my husband will read with me. This book is my favorite so far out of all the books in the series. Cleo Coyle and Marc have such a way with writing that I feel like I am there in the story with Clare Cosi. Awesome writing and awesome books.

I agree with Lorie that the Coffeehouse series is one of my favorite mystery series as well. Each book can be read independently with all the great background information that is given, but you won’t want to skip any books as they are just so good. The descriptions of the people and the locations, especially the coffeehouse, are described so well that you feel as though you can see each person and also the coffeehouse in your mind’s eye. The stories are truly great and each books makes you wanting more adventures with Claire, and her friends and family. I try to savor each chapter not wanting to rush through the book as finishing it means another wait until the next one is out, and that seems like such a long time. But with the great recipes in each book you can be reminded of the coffeehouse and some of the people in the stories which will help; to get you through until the next mystery comes along for Claire to solve.
I had given this series a 5 star rating as it truly deserves it.
Keep up the great writing Cleo!!! Continued success in 2014!!!

Thank you for this lovely giveaway too.
