Details on how to win an ebook copy of this book at the end of the review, along with a link to purchase the book where a portion goes to help support KRL. This is another book perfect for your Halloween reading!

I have to admit that The Night Visitor is not my typical read–I tend to go more for cozy or private eye mysteries–and this one is more of a paranormal suspense/thriller. However, The Night Visitor grabbed my attention from practically page one and wouldn’t let go!

Beautiful and successful corporate exec at a successful cosmetics company, Rory Langtry had it all-a successful career– a wonderful fiancé and a loving family. Five years earlier she had seemed to have a great life as well, engaged to sexy, up and coming artist Junior Lara, daughter of a movie star, and sister to a supermodel. But things had gone horribly wrong when her sister had been murdered and her fiancé Junior ended up in a coma, accused of the murder. book

Rory seemed to have put that terrible time behind her until things go crazy at a big event for the cosmetics company when Junior’s brother suddenly shows up threatening her life.

Rory ends up in the hospital and this is when things really start going crazy! She begins having visions and sensations that only Junior could experience, some horrifying and others erotic. She also learns some things about the night of the murder that only Junior would know. She becomes determined that the only way to break this terrifying connection, which is also having physical affects on her body, is to find out what happened that night, even if the truth ends up being more horrible than anyone imagined.

Dianne does an amazing job of bringing every chill and thrill of this book to life! The Night Visitor is the dictionary definition of a page turner. From what I’ve read about her other books, this is a bit of a departure for Dianne, but she is such a skilled writer I will now be seeking out those other books as well. If you love paranormal thrillers don’t miss this one. If, like me, they aren’t your typical fare, give it a try anyway. You won’t be disappointed.

To enter to win an ebook copy of The Night Visitor, simply email KRL at krlcontests@gmail[dot]com by replacing the [dot] with a period, and with the subject line “Visitor,” or comment on this article. A winner will be chosen October 25, 2014. U.S. residents only.

Wow. Great review. Though not what I usually read I’d like to give this one a read.

After all the cozy mysteries promoted here, a thriller would be a welcome break even if cozies are your favorites. The Night Visitor sounds exciting.
