The Fresno Fair is almost upon us again, opening on October 1, and there’s always a great list of entertainment with a lot of variety. This year is no exception with entertainers including Tony Bennett, REO Speedwagon, Snoopdog, Toby Mac, Beach Boys, Gabriel Iglesias, and many more.

Tony Bennett, Kongos, and the La Buena Corrido Fest are the latest entertainers to be added to this year’s list. The Fair’s last night will be one to remember as that is the night that legendary singer Tony Bennett will be performing on the Paul Paul Theater Stage. Bennett has been singing for more than 50 years and is still amazing! If you love the old big band style music that he does so well you won’t want to miss this show. Bennett has received 17 Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award, two Emmy Awards, and has sold 50 million records worldwide. You can see Tony Bennett live at the Fresno Fair on October 13. Tickets are $50/$45.

“We work hard to bring the best entertainers to The Big Fresno Fair and this year we are thrilled to add a legend like Tony Bennett to our line-up,” said John C. Alkire, CEO, The Big Fresno Fair. “With the addition of Tony Bennett, as well as the KONGOS and El Corrido Fest – we cover a wide variety of musical tastes, bringing a little something for everyone at The Big Fresno Fair.”

Alternative rock newcomers the Kongos will bring their unique sound to the Fair on October 10. They can be heard on local airwaves with their hit single “Come With Me Now.” The band formed in 2007 and is comprised of four brothers: Johnny (accordion, keyboard, vocals), Jesse (drums, percussion, vocals), Daniel (guitar, vocals), and Dylan (bass guitar, lap slide guitar, vocals). Tickets are $12/$8.
