Have you ever heard the old saying “there is so much natural beauty in the world, and most of the people will never get to see a fraction of it?” Well, you really could not even imagine the truth behind this saying. Most people put off traveling because they have kids, budget issues, pets, work, or just the wrong timing. With that being said, pets can no longer be an excuse for taking in some of the world’s greatest sites. Life is too short to miss out on so much, and with all the pet accommodations available, there are now a variety of places that you can travel with your beloved pet.

Anywhere In San Diego

With its year around balmy weather and seaside views, San Diego is without a doubt an ideal destination for any pet owner. When you combine this with the 16 off-leash parks and pet -friendly restaurants this is truly any pet’s dream destination. There is even a Lighthouse Ice Cream shop that offers a tasty treat known as frosty paws. This is a soy-based sugar free ice cream that you can spoil your pet with. Along with walks on the beach, and other restaurants that are dedicated to solely providing pet snacks, you and your pet will have an amazing time in San Diego.

Austin, Texas

Austin, Texas is not only an ideal destination for pets, but it is desirable for pet owners as well, because there is literally so much to do. Located within Austin, you will find 18 different off-leash parks and walking tours. Some will even provide leashed dogs with yoga classes and a dog-only swimming hole. In addition to this, you can find several dog-only food trucks that cater specially to certain breeds. Everything really will be bigger in Texas for your four-legged friend.

Jacksonville, Florida

Jacksonville is now a desired spot for pets and pet owners alike. The Dogwood Park is absolutely heaven for pets, as it is a completely off-leash park that is entirely fenced in. From ponds to knolls to trails, you and your dog can literally spend hours interacting there. There is even another little side area that offers chairs and other accommodations to pet owners, so they can relax and converse, while their pets play.
At Dogwood Park, it does not matter if you have a large or small dog because there are two ponds that are catered specifically to both small and large breeds. Lake Bow Wow accommodates the larger dogs, while Lake Fifi is perfectly designed for smaller pets. Florida has everything you could ever need, including an attorney to help you file a Florida nursing home abuse claim.

Chicago, Illinois

Chicago, Illinois is a city that everyone must see at least once before they leave this Earth and now pooches are more than welcome. There are literally over 18 off-leash parks that cater specifically to dogs, three pet-friendly beaches, and tons of shops and restaurants that are pet-friendly. There is even a 90-minute cruise across the Chicago River that will keep your pet happy and entertained on even the hottest of days.
