In rescue we sometimes tend to focus on all of the animals who are not safe, who we cannot help, and the overwhelming number of them needing us. At the end of every year, we find ourselves emotionally and physically exhausted. At Fresno Bully Rescue, we are fortunate to be graced with warm-hearted, volunteers, adopters, and supporters who continually amaze and energize us.

Even at the end of tough years, new years begin, and we receive holiday and update pictures from adoptive families that warm our hearts and remind us of our mission, our passion, and our love for a large part of our community that is underserved and under-recognized.

At times it is difficult to concentrate on successes when there is so much yet to be done, but our energy and our commitment never stops. To know a deserving dog, once chained, cold, abused, neglected, and unloved is now in a loving, caring, warm and forever home with a family to love them is a blessing to all of us.

Fresno Bully Rescue and the animals and people we serve, can count on more blessings as we move towards completion of the construction of our new facility. It will be as amazing and beautiful as the dogs and people who make up our organization. As the new year moves onward, we, too, continue to move forward, striving to improve the lives of dogs who deserve so much from us. We can only hope to match their unconditional love, commitment, and loyalty. We are excited to begin this new chapter; to increase the level of caring and giving that can be a bright beacon to all needy souls, and desperately needed by so many in what can be a cold and cruel world. Happy New Year to all!

  1. The pups on the couch photo is a true delight. The work KRL does with these articles on pets and people is to be commended. Thank You
